Relationship Direct Intervention
9:30am – 12:00pm
Living in a complex world with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is like living in a foreign country and not speaking the language. Individuals on the spectrum often struggle to connect with their world on multiple levels which impacts all elements of their functioning. While research still debates the aetiology of ASD, research has shown that through the passionate dedication of parents to provide early intervention and opportunities to grow, we can make a difference to individuals on the spectrum and most importantly parents (and professionals) have the capacity to restore their child’s ability to think, communicate and relate dynamically, and thus our session speaker will introduce us a guiding program that is designed to assist parents to promote their child’s ability to connect, think and grow by working on, not around the core issues of ASD.
