The Autism Society Philippines (ASP) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of persons on the autism spectrum disorder. We envision a society where Filipinos on the spectrum become the best of their potentials -- self-reliant, independent, productive, socially-accepted citizens of an Autism-OK Philippines.

Armadillo Holdings for Angels Walk 2015

Back when the Angels Walk for Autism was held at the MOA Entertainment Hall, five people manned the production team. But after the first Angels Walk in MOA Arena in 2014, the ASP Angel Walk Committee knew that we needed much, much more than that!

And because Direk Albert was happy with production volunteers from Armadillo Holdings, Inc, we doubled the number of volunteers from AHI to complete Direk's volunteer requirements. They attended the rehearsal at ILLC a week before, where they had a crash course from Direk about their roles in production. This merry band of volunteers, none of whom is related to anyone with autism, camped out the night before the event at The Legend Manor to ensure everyone was in Arena for their 3am call time. They all agreed they had a great time, even if their only reward were modest packed meals and the light-hearted encounters with Filipinos touched by autism.

Thank you to our angels from Armadillo: Amyr Abulencia, Abby Apura, Kat Bantoto, Michael Briones, Edward Dumagas, Irene Galarpe, Joshua Labapis, Lee Polonan, Ren Ropeta, and Ronan Teruel; and their mentors from Chain Reaction: Direk Albert Aragon, Unik Padilla and Xylene Azurin. May your tribe increase!
