ASP Tacloban Chapter celebrates Autism Consciousness Week

The National Autism Consciousness Week commemoration in Tacloban, which kicked off last 17 January 2016, was a great success. The kick off program, the Angels Walk for Autism, the Art Exhibit and series of seminar workshops -- the commemoration did not only bring awareness but also much needed education of parents, professionals and the public on concerns of persons with autism.

Most importantly, the children and adults with autism had their chance to shine. They showcased their talents during the opening program at Robinson's Place which brought entertainment and fun. I felt blessed to have had the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences as a SPED Teacher.
